The search for the invisible thread that unites photography and illustration, reality and imagination, testimony and interpretation is at the heart of AION artstudio's artistic production.
We have always been fascinated by the power emanating from old photographs and the looks of the people portrayed, whose inner world lingers intact within the image.
Our intent is to fix that indelible moment that begins in the moment of the photo shoot, is transformed into a magical vision through illustrated reworking and ends with the portrait printed on paper.
