Portrait Experience. Illustrated Photo Portraits will be a true happening beginning on the opening day and ending with the finissage when participants in the three photo sessions will be able to detach their framed portrait from the Gallery walls and take it home ready to be hung again.
Three days of photo shoots and illustrated interventions on the photo portraits will be held at Lab 1930 on the opening day (Tuesday 10 October) and on Saturdays 4 and 21 October 2023. The framed portraits, as they are made, will be displayed on the Gallery walls before being picked up by the participants of the three photo shoots. During these two weeks you will see an exhibition in progress, enriched day by day by new works. All photo portraits are on commission.
Photo shoots by appointment only:
Tuesday 10 October : 4:00 - 8:00 pm (exhibition opening);
Saturdays 14 and 21 October: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm | 3:00 - 7:00 pm
Three types of photo shoots of different complexity are available.
The photo portrait: all it takes is a click but more importantly Duglas Andreetti's great experience as a portrait photographer to bring home a portrait that everyone will envy you.
If you want something more complex then you will need the intervention of Giada Negri, an established sketch artist, who with a few touches of colored pastel will make your face even more unique.
If, on the other hand, you really want a dream to hang on the wall, Giada will digitally paint over the photo and then touch it up by hand with pastels. The result will truly be something wonderful that blends reality and imagination. Try it to believe!
Photo portraits are available in three sizes, all framed, and different costs to meet everyone's needs. These are the available sizes: 20 x 15 cm (A5); 30 x 20 cm (A4); 40 x 30 cm (A3). And these are the costs according to the complexity and the size: photo portrait: 120 | 160 | 200 euros; photo portrait and colored pastels: 180 | 270 | 390 euros; photo portrait, digital painting and colored pastels: 540 | 850 | 960 euros.

The Portrait Experience. Illustrated Photo Portraits exhibition is part of the programme of the 18th edition of Photofestival, the art photography event that from 15 September to 31 October 2023 proposes a rich programme of exhibitions and other initiatives throughout the territory of Milan and some of the Lombardy provinces, to promote the culture of images.
The exhibition can be visited without appointment on Sundays 15 and 22 October from 3:00 to 6:00 pm; by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm
